Dye Sublimation T-shirt
Dye Sublimation is a revolutionary way to transfer full colour designs onto light coloured garments. The process works by printing the designs using special sublimation inks, adding dye to sublimation transfer paper.
When extreme heat and pressure is applied using a heat press the solid dye transfers into a gas (without becoming liquid, hence the name sublimation) and fuses with the garment’s fabric. The image is then perfectly and permanently transferred onto the garment.
Unlike screen printing which places ink on top of the garment, sublimation printing actually fuses the ink within the fabric at a molecular level, so there’s no “rub”.
Dye sublimation is only suitable with light coloured garments with a high polyester or nylon content.
All of our T-Shirts are white round neck T-shirts, fine single-jersey and made from 100% cotton with a fine 100% polyester coating.
