This Fan Art started it's life as a conversation with illustrator Phillip Blackman, aka @NobbyNobody on Twitter, about my word blindness and his colour blindness. A fortuitous case of the blind leading the blind.

The Scent of Who made with Star whale ambergris.

This is a piece of fan art I was honoured to be asked to do, by my good Twitter friend and neighbour (just up the road in Robin Hood country who now owes me one) Kev Brett. It is for a guest page that is featured in his amazing mini book now on sale

This was my first venture into the realms of fan art for The Mighty Monocle's, Fan Art Friday. I remember asking Rolfe, what is fan art ? He said it's art from a fan. Derrr! I can be really, really dumb sometimes.

This cartoon is in direct response to a guest post that was sent from heaven by the creator/cartoonist of Therapy Tales herself, who helped save my aching hand as I was suffering from R.S.I after drawing 59 continuous days of Daily Daleks.

This fan art was a surprise for my good Twitter friend and cartoonist Stephen Beals, who very kindly put me in the CRAP section of his webcomic.

This one just had to be done and was yet again a surprise for the creators, who now sadly have stopped drawing the comic. This was my first ever webcomic read.

This is the fan art I did for one of my all time favourite webcomics, Tales of a Checkered Man. May 27, 2011. I wanted to make this one look like a late thirties detective style comic.

Sketches of the Checkered Man I did to get a feel for the character as it's not my normal style of artwork.
